A Few New Hawaii Airfare Deals

Published by Jeff at 10:57 am under Airline and Ship Deals

We saw American’s “Low Fares to Hawaii” sale, which is mostly not a sale, just hype.  But it does include a couple of notables.  We also found a reasonable fare from Phoenix on US Airways worth mentioning.

At this point, the fare sales are popping up, but they are still few and fare between.

  • Pittsburgh to Lihue $610 (AA); through November 19
  • Phoenix to Lihue $477 RT (US); August 16 to December 12
  • Miami to Honolulu $598 (AA, CO, DL, UA); through November 19

If you are interested in any of these, I wouldn’t wait even one day.  They can expire at any time.

Thanks so much for checking and reporting air fare deals to Hawaii. Our Hawaii visitors are desperately waiting for decent ticket fares. Because of high air fares, a lot of vacation rental owners experience a ’summer hole’. I have never seen Hawaii rental rates by private owners as low as this summer.

Getting back to your air fare quotes. Pittsburgh, Phoenix and Miami are not the places where most of our Hawaii tourists come from. How about some affordable RT tickets for the West Coast: WA, AK and CA, where the majority of Hawaii travelers comes from?

    Aloha Pua,

I check each of the three daily airfare postings, and mention anything that pops up. That’s what was new today.

Phoenix is an important market though I believe. Also, east coast Hawaii traffic is of growing importance, while the west coast traffic (though still huge) has been declining.

The deals from the west coast have unfortunately been virtually non-existent for a while. Alaska Airlines has somewhat reasonable fares from Seattle, and that’s about all I can say.

Let’s all keep our fingers crossed.

    Jeff
