Bidding Traveler is a new service that just surfaced this month. It is much like biddingfortravel.com, in that it helps unravel the complexities of bidding for accommodations using Priceline.
This simple to use tool is a lot easier for most people than sifting through the alternative, Bidding for Travel. Its map interface identifies hotels by name and reveals details of recent winning and losing bids. It also helps you determine strategies for rebidding. Once you set the parameters, the site directs you to Priceline to place your bid.
I tried Bidding Traveler on a number of Hawaii locations and was pleased with how the site works. I’ll definitely be trying it on my next Priceline foray.
One limitation is that the site only works fully with Internet Explorer at this time.

Also give http://betterbidding.com/ a try. Similar to BiddingForTravel but helpful, and without the attitude.

True enough Alba. I’ve used better bidding as well.

Say waht? This doesn’t seem any easier than just going to Priceline the usual way. If Priceline says no, add $5.

But what if Priceline says yes to your first bid? Then you bid too much. These sites help you get the very best price.

I concur Alba. These sites have become an essential part of Priceline and Hotwire for a myriad of reasons.
