Alaska Airlines just announced their Fall pricing for travel from the Pacific Northwest through mid-December. These aren’t the earth-shattering deals you are hoping for, but they are good nonetheless and might just fit the bill for many. The following are one way fares, plus tax of approximately $10 each way.
Portland to Kahului $179
Seattle to Honolulu $169
Seattle to Kona $189
Seattle to Lihue $199
- Purchase by August 14
- Travel Mondays through Thursdays in either direction
- Valid for travel between September 14 and December 16
- Availability good and I still found dates around the Thanksgiving holiday week with only a few days blacked out
How is it best to work airfare for October if I have a free companion domestic ticket on Delta and live in Atlanta – we would like to stop in Honolulu and then go on to Maui or Kauai and back to Atlanta.

I hope I’m understanding your question. Buy a ticket from Atlanta to Honolulu for about $600 on Delta and then inter-island airfare for both of you at $43 each way to Kauai or Maui.
