• Honolulu Academy of Arts: The Dragon’s Gift. Even if you can’t make it to Honolulu before the exhibition closes on May 23rd, be sure to mark your calendars and see it at one of its U.S. mainland stops. This is a hands-on museum experience not to be missed.

• Cheap ($79) Waikiki Hotel: Equus Update. This small Waikiki boutique hotel just can’t be beat. At one-third the price of our favorite luxury hotel (Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki), we plan on returning again soon.
