Chicago to Honolulu Fall/Winter $207 Each Way

Jul 23, 2009 4 Comments by

chicagoUS Airways is going after United’s Chicago customers today with a great Fall travel deal to Hawaii.  This is airfare retaliation, as we’ve recently posted deals in which United was picking off US Air’s customers.

Chicago to Honolulu has not been in the $400′s since December 2008.

This deal with likely be very short-lived, so don’t wait at all if you want to get it.

  • Cost:  $486 roundtrip (all-inclusive)
  • Airlines:  US Airways
  • Days:  Monday through Wednesday travel
  • Advance purchase:  14 days
  • Dates: Late August through Spring 2010.  Not valid over Christmas holidays, but Thanksgiving is still available for only $24 more each way.
  • Availability:  Excellent.  Find it using flexible date search.

Hi I have been looking for cheap flights to Hawaii for March 5-20 from Michigan and everything has been in th 900-1000 dollar range.
I flew there during this time before and alway had a flight around 5-600 dollars.
am I just looking to early?

    Hi Julie,

It is still generally too early for Fall/Winter sales.

Looking back to last year, the only “great” sale that covered Detroit was in late October when it was just over $400 (all-inclusive) to Honolulu or Maui. The second best deal was last September when it was about $600. Neither was valid past mid-December.

I’m keeping fingers crossed with you.

    Aloha, Jeff

    Hi Connie,

The deal you’re inquiring about was posted nearly two weeks ago and is no longer valid.

As it states on our website contact us page:

“Deals are valid at the time they are published. By their very nature, however, one can not assume that deals are valid at a later time, or that links to them will always continue to work. Airline deals are time sensitive, and sometimes that means they’re only available for hours or days. In other cases they’re available much longer. Before we publish any deal, we personally validate its availability”.

    Aloha, Jeff
