A small and likely short-lived airfare skirmish is providing a nice Fall travel opportunity. I hope that some of you who have been asking about Chicago to Hawaii deals can take advantage of it. Act quickly if you are interested.

Hi! I just found this site – fantastic! My family and I are going to the Kona area for a week starting December 5th. Are there any good deals from Chicago? Would you recommend flying straight there or flying to a different island and then using a local airline to get there?

Thanks for writing.
Unfortunately, the current Chicago deals end by November 27. Hopefully we’ll see something arise that will work for early December.
I’d check fares to Honolulu and Maui as well. But keep in mind that inter-island airfares have become quite expensive once again.
