Delta Hawaii Sale: California from $154 Each Way

Jul 15, 2010 4 Comments by

It’s turning out to be an excellent season of airfare discounts, far better than I’d expected.  Hawaiian and Alaska have recently taken the lead.  This sale, however was kicked off by Delta Airlines and followed by the other legacy carriers.

Cities other than those listed below are also included, so check availability and pricing using Kayak, FareCompare or another flexible date search.  I also used Travelocity.

San Francisco/Honolulu $346 round trip, all-inclusive

  • Excellent availability starting August 17 through early December (except Thanksgiving).
  • Also matched by United.  American about $10 more.

Los Angeles/Honolulu $395 round trip, all-inclusive

  • Excellent availability starting August 17 through early November.
  • Also matched by American and United.
  • Kona or Maui for $80 more, round trip.

Just got back from Kauai yesterday and all I can say is go! Jaw dropping scenery, beautiful beaches, plenty of outdoor and sightseeing activities – splurge for a helecopter tour on the money you save on airfare. There are some equally great hotel deals available on the island. Rates at many mid priced hotels are very reasonable now, with even more deals coming into effect late June through mid November in all categories of properties.

Yes, now is the time to go and don’t hesitate since the fares are deals! Island is quiet and this is a fabulous paradise that is so special. Enjoy a wonderful time and you don’t have to spend a lot!

    Hi Janet,

From the post: “so check availability and pricing using Kayak, FareCompare or another flexible date search. I also used Travelocity.”

Fare is still available. You can book using one of these or go to the airline site.

    Aloha, Jeff
