Updated 5:00pm (HST): These Delta deals have ended after being available for about 7 hours. If you’re not getting our deal alerts on Facebook, Twitter, or in RSS, I invite you to do so in order to not miss out on the next great offers.
Delta has what will likely be a very short-lived and exceptional Hawaii airfare deal today. I hope that you can take advantage of it. To make it even better, it includes some holiday dates and even goes through the end of their schedule, a whopping 330 days from now.
I’ll check on this a little later day and will update with any changes.
Updated at 12:30pm (HST). Many new city pairs have been added in the past hour and it keeps on growing. Some of these fares have not shown up yet on flexible date searches. Therefore I used delta.com to find them (which unfortunately isn’t very flexible).
If you find any more city pairs I may have missed, please let me know.

Wow, what a fantastic price, and finally some love for the Midwest. Lot’s of stops from ORD to OGG though. Thanks for posting this!

Just booked Lihue to San Francisco in January for $275 all inclusive. Merry Christmas to me… my husband says “thanks for taking care of my Christmas shopping for me”. H

Aloha Heidi,
Glad you and Bryan can get away. San Francisco to/from all the neighbor islands was the last group to be added to this sensational sale.

August 7th-15th. What in the world am I doing wrong…
Thanks so much for your fast response:)
Jeff (1 year ago)
Hi Christy,
For that routing, the first availability I’m seeing is August 25 outbound and September 2 return (if you want a week). I hope that helps.

Hi Christy,
I don’t have a good feeling about the likelihood of that happening. In part that’s because UAL is non-stop whereas Delta routes you through LAX. Sorry.

Any crystal ball to know if United will EVER join in a real deal SFO-LIH?

HI there
I need oct 15-17 or 18
chicago to honolulu
but they are all like 600 bucks?
anyone know when the sale fares are for?
thanks
Jeff (1 year ago)
Hi Martin,
These deals appear to be reaching an end. From ORD, HNL and KOA are no longer available, but OGG still has October dates. On delta.com, after you put in your airports and dates, select “more booking options” then “my dates are flexible.”
Aloha, Jeff

Hi Stephanie,
Unfortunately, today’s Delta deals have just ended. I invite you to subscribe to our website, preferably in RSS, Twitter or Facebook, so that we can get you the next deals very quickly. Many readers were able to take advantage of this deal today.
Thank you for reading Beat of Hawaii.

Hi Jeff,
I didn’t even receive this e-mail until 8:00 PM PST (which I believe is 5:00 HST?). So I would have missed out on these deals if I was flying from one of these cities anyway. Is there a faster way to receive e-mails from your listserv by chance? I just signed up for twitter today and am now following these airlines as well as your website. I’m based in LA so I don’t want to miss out on deals to Hawaii from here. I missed the United deal a few days ago. That would have been perfect. Do you expect anymore deals to pop up before Septemberish to Kauai or Big Island?
Jeff (1 year ago)
Aloha,
As I hope you saw on our recent post, the best way to get deals immediately as they are published is to subscribe using Facebook, Twitter or RSS. Our emails to subscribers are sent on our behalf by Google. We ask Google to send them out as quickly as possible, but that is out of our control and can either work very quickly, or take many hours. The other services work more or less instantaneously.
As to whether or not more deals to Kauai or Big Island are imminent, I can’t say. I do know that we are seeing a virtually unprecedented number of deals arising for this time of year.
Thanks for being a regular reader and for your comment.
Aloha, Jeff

Just signed up for Facebook. Have no idea how to get your feeds. Directions, please!
I sure would have grabbed this one if I had known.
Jeff (1 year ago)
Hi Colleen,
I thought about you yesterday and almost emailed you. But you said STL. I even looked at the cost of ORD-STL (which as I recall was about $150 for your dates).
So just click here or on the Facebook link on the website and when on the page click “like.” Then you’ll receive our Facebook updates in your news feed. The trick is to be on Facebook often enough to see the updates quickly.
Hope this helps.
Have a good weekend.

Hi Joy,
Thanks for your comment and for being a reader. I’m so pleased that it worked for you to get that sensational Chicago airfare on Friday.
Aloha, Jeff
Colleen (1 year ago)
Thanks for the directions on using Facebook. YES, for THAT kind of fare – we would have happily driven to Chicago! Didn’t realize there were EVER rates that low from anywhere in the Midwest! If you see anything within a 5 hour drive of StL that good – again – do let me know :0)
Colleen (1 year ago)
OK – I went to facebook and clicked ‘like’
Will that send a notice to MY facebook? So far, I see your page but nothing on mine
As I said – I have NO idea how this works – I am computer literate – but not facebook literate :0)
Jeff (1 year ago)
Hi Colleen,
Yes that’s all that’s necessary. You should just have received the update regarding today’s post. Let me know if you didn’t get it.
Thanks and aloha,
Jeff

Hi Rowena,
As the post says, these deals were valid for about 7 hours on Friday, which, considering the price, was a long time.
