Dreaming of Christmas in Hawaii For Under $500?

Hawaii was just named the top holiday dream escape by TripAdvisor.  Travelers picked Hawaii as their top 10 dream escape, followed by London, Paris, Aruba, New York City, Las Vegas, Jamaica, Rome, Bahamas and Tahiti.

This dream can come true for our readers with the savings that I found today.

West Coast to Hawaii airfares for the peak Christmas/New Year holidays have been in the $700-$1,000+ range for as many years as I can remember.  This year, however,  is an obvious exception.

I checked this morning and still find availability for under $500 RT.  Here are some unexpectedly good all-inclusive fares from Los Angeles:

Honolulu $496-$504.  United Airlines.  Fly December 23 or 24; return December 26-28.

Kahului $485-496.  Delta and United Airlines.  Fly December 22-25; return December 25-31.

Lihue $486-$496.  Delta and United Airlines.  Fly December 23 or 24; return December 25-31.

Notes: If you’re still thinking of coming for the holidays, I suggest not waiting one minute longer.
