Hi Jack,

Let's get the less appealing parts out of the way first. March is typically rainy. I'll keep my fingers crossed though. It has been an unusually dry winter thus far. But do have a few things in mind to do, just in case it rains. Also, winter swells make north shore beaches mostly unswimmable, so you may need to head east or south, just depending. Lastly, a bridge is being replaced between Lihue and Kapaa, so be prepared for significant traffic delays in that area.

I'd suggest starting with the guidebook Kauai Revealed. That will give you a great overview. Most libraries should have it. Thereafter, please get back to us with your thoughts, questions, concerns. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Aloha, Rob

Hi! your program on NPR woke me up from my nap. Logged into your web page and booked a flight to Kaua'i. We are staying in the northland in mid March. My question is, If I have only three day to do something, where and what? just curious! Great Interview! We come from ND and we loved our last visit. Our ages-50s,we enjoyed visiting with locals, down to earth. Thanks for your web site!!! Keep up the good work...
