Go! and Mokulele Discount Codes

To get your vacation and the weekend off to a good start, here are three different discounts which are available on our local air carriers:
1. Go! Airlines. Enter coupon “ZGUIFQF” and promotion code “OAH09″ to receive 10% off inter-island airfares. I do not know how long this discount will be in effect.
2. Mokulele. Enter promo code “blessed” to receive 10% off inter-island flights. Valid through August 7 only.
I also checked Island Air but could not find any discounts.

I just returned this weekend from Hawaii. I had a rather unsatisfying experience with GO! airlines. I learned that they charge for baggage (Mokulele does not – we flew over on them – a great flight, clean comfortable planes). They also do not have an agreement with Continental, so I had to pay them $60 for my family’s bags, then 30 minutes later, pay Continental the same amount. The flight was also 30 minutes late, and they were not able to check me through to my final destination, causing me to schelp 6 heavy bags on the shuttle. The airport employees passed along the fact that they are unhappy with GO!, as they perceive ripped off customers.

I’m sorry that you had a bad experience. I mentioned the $10 Go! first bag fee in a review of all the inter-island bag fees back on May 13.
I hope that you had a great trip in spite of that.

I used Mokulele from OGG to HNL last Friday 8/21/09. The flight was chosen based upon your web page information. I used Hawaiian and Aloha previously. Go was rejected based on your web page data.
(a) The first bag for free is only until sept 1st 2009 then it is $10
(b) They did not have an agreement with Delta so we had to hump from the inter island terminal to the mainland terminal. They need to get contracts with all the major airlines flying in/out of HNL
(c) The airplane was very new and comfortable. Easy on/off and very pleasant flight attendants.
(d) I had got a special $40 web fare + $9.60 taxes per person so was pleased on the cost.
Only negative was the non transfer of baggage.
