Good Morning from Manhattan Island

Aug 28, 2008 2 Comments by

Beat of Hawaii landed in New York early Wednesday morning. After a staggering 5,000 plus mile, two flight journey in coach on United, we arrived Newark at 6 am. We love islands and they don’t come any more culturally different or geographically remote than Kauai and Manhattan.

Once we’re back home we’ll tell you about the best money saving strategies we found for entertainment, food, lodging and transportation. And we’ve got a surprising report on United Airlines.

We’re really excited and looking forward to a great week in the Big Apple. Stay tuned for more posts.

Sorry to bug you on your beautiful trip to NY. My Dad grew up there, so enjoy!
I wonder though, would you be willing to give a little feedback about the United flying experience? We’re holding tickets on a flight to Maui in November from Canada to purchase tomorrow for $1483 US.
I’ve heard so many things about United, but I wonder, can they really be worse than Air Canada?

So what’s this surprising report on United? I hope it’s good news … looks like I’m stuck flying with them and it’s been a long time since I’ve heard anything good about them.
