Hi guys- I see the fall rates have started. We are trying to get from LAX to Honolulu for Thanksgiving week, about 6 days. If we can’t get some sort of a special we can’t go. I know that’s a tough week. Judging by these specials do you foresee decent flight rates for that period? When do the airlines typically start advertising their Thanksgiving specials, if at all? Mahalo!

      Hi Susan.

Deals are impossible to predict. Having said that I’d say Thanksgiving week itself is extremely unlikely this year. Best thing I found is leaving Thursday before Thanksgiving and returning on Thanksgiving day using Delta for $475 total. Otherwise, it will be $750+ at this point.

      Aloha.
