Grand Hyatt Kauai $239

Here’s a great Hawaii travel deal on one of Kauai’s favorite luxury hotels. It’s truly not unusual to see these rooms in the $400-$500 a night range.

Things I love about this hotel include it’s proximity to the ocean, the refined luxurious yet local feel, beautiful pools, plus the fact that it’s both very near Poipu yet feels secluded and removed.

• $239 per night from September 1 through December 23 (add $10/night from August 5 through 31)
• Courtyard or pool view room
• Upgrade to full ocean view for $70 more
• $25 resort fee daily for fitness center, tennis courts, parking and Internet
