While we’re waiting for the next great Hawaii travel deal to come our way, here are some beautiful lei from last weekend’s annual celebration at Kauai Museum. Also, please note that the recent deal:

This year’s lei contest was the 31st annual on Kauai. It’s one of my favorite events this time of year. And a chance to reconnect with friends. It feels like everyone on island turns out including our visitors.
The museum encourages lei makers to use flowers from their own gardens. That reduces the chance of endangered and wild plant materials being used in lei entries.
