LA to Hawaii Airfares Remain Hot

Jul 29, 2010 4 Comments by

If you’re planning to visit Hawaii during the end of summer or in the fabulous and uncrowded fall season, there’s good news if you’re in LA or can get to LA cheaply.  While these aren’t the $100 each way fares that existed for an hour yesterday, they are nonetheless solid deals.

Here are the three Southern California to Hawaii markets that continue to have the best airfare deals for late summer and fall.  Other Hawaii destinations are higher.  I’ll be keeping eyes peeled however, as based on all of the discounting that’s happened recently, there should be a lot more Hawaii deals ahead.

LAX to Honolulu $157 each way

  • $352 round trip, all-inclusive
  • Continental, Delta, United
  • Starting August 17

LAX to Lihue $184 each way

  • $406 round trip, all-inclusive
  • American, Delta, United (all are non-stop)
  • Starting August 24

SNA to Honolulu $169 each way

  • $376 round trip, all-inclusive
  • Continental
  • Starting August 23

Not just LA–SFO fares to HNL on UA can be as low as $345 all in. A few dollars more depending on day of travel and length of stay.

    True Pat.

Really we could say that the entire West Coast to Hawaii is hot. LA was in my thinking today, and the LA to Kauai and Orange County to Honolulu non-stops are top value.

    Thanks for your comment.

    Aloha, Jeff

where were these rates found? cuz they’re not around anywhere that I could find…

    Hi Misty,

All prices are valid at the time they are posted. Here’s the best way to stay on top of them.

    Aloha, Jeff
