Hi Sherrie,

Right now the prices for that time are $600/$750 (Los Angeles/Denver). If you wait, you would hope to see perhaps $450/$550 or something like that. So it comes down to whether the uncertainty of future discounting is worth it or not.

The other thought is to negotiate a better deal for a group of 10 or more traveling to the same destination. Check out this AA page: http://www.aa.com/aa/i18nForward.do?p=/businessPrograms/groupsMeetings/leisureGroup.jsp.

One more thought. If you'll been following us, you know that this year the Fall travel deals came way later than they would normally. So all bets are off for next year's timing and pricing.

Hope this helps.

I am going to Kauai on 9/5/09-9/12/09. I have a group of 4 leaving from Denver and a group of 10 leaving from LAX. The cheap airfares seem to be the last minute deals. Would you recommend I wait until August to purchase my airfare or would the prices be higher in the summer months?
