That is the nature of the airline industry. For that reason I suggest subscribing to one of our feeds in order to get them right away and be able to pounce.

Your question about end of August travel is tricky. If you have your heart set on specific dates and destination, then the airlines kind of have you where they want you.

It is somewhat of a crap shoot. Today isn’t a great time to be shopping for Hawaii airfares. On the other hand, next week might prove to be much better. Bottom line is that I don’t think the fare will get worse and it may well get better. So if were me, I’d wait.
