PackLate Adds Hawaii Vacation Rentals

Aug 02, 2010 No Comments by

There’s a new player in vacation rentals called PackLate. Just five months old, this young start-up may be one to watch. Effective today, Hawaii is no longer missing from their list of destinations. They are now showing 162 properties on Maui with more islands coming soon.

The nicest feature I’ve found is PackLate’s real-time pricing and instant booking. When I think about my recent experience with VRBO, this looks like a time saver to know immediately about availability.

PackLate also accepts credit cards. When I used one on my VRBO rental I was charged a questionable 2.9% convenience fee unless I sent a certified check.

Their best deals are for reservations booked within 30 days of arrival. And get this, no security deposit on most properties. I remember paying $250 on my VRBO rental which was refunded two weeks after my stay.

I’m interested to see the quality of the Hawaii properties listed on PackLate. Take a look too and let me know what you think.
