Reconsider Travel Insurance For Hawaii Trip: Tutorial

Apr 07, 2008 2 Comments by Jeff

See our February post about why you should consider travel insurance for your upcoming Hawaii vacation.

In light of recent developments, I thought it timely to revisit the subject.

Travel insurance, bought online, can protect your family vacation in the event of failure of an airline (or other carrier) to provide services contracted for. While hopefully we have seen the last of the vendor departures from our travel industry, that may not be the case.

Making your travel purchases with a major credit card certainly offers some protection against defaults. Just getting your money back, however, may not be enough to save your summer vacation.

In addition to protecting you against defaults, travel insurance offers a variety of other options worthy of considering.
