Spring Break From Bay Area $131+ Each Way Still Available

January 27, 2012. It’s getting close to the wire for booking a Spring Break Hawaii vacation. For the most part, prices are too high to consider for the  period from mid-march through mid-April. There are still a few exceptions, but dates are becoming quite limited. So do act quickly.

Cost: From $131 each way, plus approx. $10 tax for mod-week travel.

Airline: Hawaiian Airlines.

Routes:

• San Jose to Honolulu $141+. Dates are very limited; return flights start at $169.
• San Jose to Kauai $181+. Dates are limited.
• San Jose or Oakland to Maui $131 . Dates are limited in both directions; more availability at $10-$50 additional.
• Oakland to Kauai $191. Good availability.

Note: If you can find dates that work with your schedule, above are the best prices I could find. There is also some availability on Alaska Airlines for these routes starting at about $180 each way, so check there as well.
