If Go! stops flying, the Hawaiian Airlines seat inventory will dry up very quickly. So stay tuned and if anything does happen, be quick getting alternate reservations.

We have inter-island tickets on Go for August and now I’m concerned. Should we book on Hawaiian (which means flying from Maui to Oahu to Kona instead of just Maui to Kona). Tickets were purchased on a credit card.

Hi Konstantin,

If it were me, I’d just wait it out at this point. The reason is that October won’t be nearly as busy as the peak summer season. Hawaiian will also have more capacity as they will have taken delivery of their new planes.

Assuming you bought your tickets on a credit card, your money should be safe in any event.

But if we already have Go! HNL-KOA-HNL tickets for October? Better to buy Hawaiian right now or wait?
