Win One of 160 Free Tickets to Hawaii on Alaska Air

Alaska Airlines announced two new Hawaii routes this morning. To innaugurate the service there are 160 free tickets being given away between now and Friday. We hope a lucky Beat of Hawaii reader will be one of the winners. There's also special pricing, making this exciting news all the way around!

First the new routes and introductory deal

Alaska Air is, as I've predicted, continuing to make Hawaii service expansion a priority. Lacking competition at the moment, they're adding the following new daily services effective April 10, 2012. If you purchase by November 4, introductory pricing of $149 each way is available for travel between April 10 and June 9 (mid-week only).

  • Honolulu to Oakland. Depart 1:55 p.m. and arrive 9:55 p.m.
  • San Jose to Honolulu. Depart 10:30 a.m. and arrive 12:55 p.m.
  • Honolulu to San Jose. Depart 12:20 p.m. and arrive 8:20 p.m.
