  1. Please consider opening up August 1st to people who get tested that own homes there. We need to be able to come back.

    Planning to return in August and crossing my fingers the Islands are safe and well by then! Curious, the pools are my kids’ favorite thing. Assuming we’re able to travel freely in August, is there any talk of keeping hotel pools closed through summer? (I guess just divert tourists to the beaches?)

    Might be a premature question, but as things “unfreeze” some it’s probably worth an article on what the COVID-era hawaii hotel experience will look like.
