Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Thrown Off Hawaiian Airlines Flight

Did Hawaiian Airlines really do this with no reason. Interesting timing in light of news from IATA about incidents on airlines.

  1. Firstly, thank you so much for your blogs. They’re always helpful and entertaining to read. My question is I hope to take my family to visit my parents on Oahu over Labor Day weekend 2017. I realize it’s peak season, but it’s the only time my college-age kids can all go to visit their grandparents. Do you think I should book now or wait for a possible lower fare later? It’s a big investment, so I want to time it right. I have the same question about hotels. Mahalo!

    1. Hi Sandy.

Yes wait and watch with us for late summer 2017 prices to come down. Think of buying during spring. You didn’t say where you’re traveling from but this suggestion holds true in any event.

For hotels – try getting something now, then keep looking as it gets closer. Also consider a vacation rental.

      Aloha.

  2. I have always been treated with utmost respect by Hawaiian airlines. In fact, they are always my first choice. I agree with Rich. Plus there is always 2 sides to every story

  3. Completely unrelated question: Is the Hawaiian Airliner in the photo flying over Tunnels on Kaua’i’s North Shore? That’s where it appears to be. Ke’e Beach would be just off the right edge of the photo.

  4. It was a slight twist of words in association almost implying that they were drunk or on drugs. Just because it didn’t happen to you doesn’t mean that the airline is right. How do we know what state of mind the pilot was in, they have been caught in inebriated situations lately themselves. Not all of them. Just like every soul that steps on a plane is not intoxicated. So before we judge the character of these people we really need to have eyewitness knowledge. We don’t know them or the airline worker’s personally.

  5. i feel like i can hear someone in the background arguing. could that be the other half of this party? is that possibly an indication of the real life reactions – rather than the in-front-of-the-world-on-instagram portrayal that we are seeing here?

  6. If she wasn’t in the system, I wonder why the plane started to taxi away form the gate? What a lousy way to begin a Hawaiian vacation.

  7. I believe Kandi’s and Todd’s version of the events. Suggesting Kandi was on drugs and/or alcohol without proof is wrong. The airline should provide evidence that Kandi and Todd were in violation of an airline rule/policy or apologize to the Tucker’s for the insensitive treatment of these people.

    1. Hi Gary.

Did someone suggest they were on drugs or alcohol? Not us. But we can say that Hawaiian would not have done this as was stated. That is definite. More will be revealed.

      Aloha.
