  1. Hello, I am traveling from the Michigan area and it seems it would be cheaper to fly to California and then catch a flight from there to Hawaii. What other choices do I have, if any?

    Thank you

    1. Hi Krystal.

Yes cheaper, but there are the issues about multiple tickets, rechecking baggage and in the event of terminal changes, checking in again. Not to even mention what if your first flight is late. Overall, savings not be worth it

      Aloha.

      1. We are flying from Austin, Tx to Hawaii in May, found that flying via SW and catch flight next day to Hawaii was way cheaper than a flying directly from Austin. With free baggage via SW was a great option and getting hotel with free points in CA is also helpful. I would use multiple airlines and flight options to compare. Something to look into.
