Dallas to Honolulu $172 Each Way

Updated 1/13:  The same deal is now available to Kahului, Kona and Lihue, which makes it even better, since inter-island airfares are getting quite expensive.

We haven’t seen Texas to Hawaii deals this good in quite some time. United encroaches on American’s hub to bring this one to you.  Interestingly, while there is quite widespread availability in the next couple of months, there are available dates all the way into December.

  • Airline: United Airlines.
  • Price: $411 round trip (all-inclusive); Summer and some other dates approx. $100 more.
  • Dates: Through December.
  • Availability: Best in in next 60 days. Not all dates, and fewer dates in April and May.
  • How to find dates: I used Kayak.

  1. Hi! My husband and I we are looking for a fly to Hawaii for our wedding anniversary in March. It is my dream to visit the islands but I did not find cheaper than 600 each for a round trip. We live in Dallas, tx… Could you give me some tips to find a good price..? Thanks

    1. Hi Lucy,

The tip is timing. If you’re set on coming in March, right now it looks like the best price is low $600. That is not horrible by the way. Great would be $400, and we’ve seen that a number of times as recently as two weeks ago. It may return in your time frame, but it may not. Do you subscribe to our updates?

      Aloha, Jeff

  2. Hi – we are spending the month of May in Hawaii, a week on each island, Did get a flight from Denver round trip to HNL for $416 – $486 includes tax. Hope we didn’t rush into it but it seemed like a good price. My question – should I now book the inter island flights? I was in sticker shock when I checked them. Is it better to book them together using muli? Ginger

    1. Hi Ginger,

The price you paid sounds very reasonable, and it’s done, so that’s good. I’d book the inter-island flights now, as long as you’re sure of travel times. It isn’t likely going to get any cheaper than $58. Inter-island segments are priced out of Honolulu, so if you’re going from Maui to Kauai for example, that isn’t the same as Maui to Honolulu. In fact it is nearly double in price. I hope I’ve answered your questions, but if not, let me know.

      Aloha, Jeff

  3. Jeff,
I was looking at flying Allegiant from Springfield MO to Phoenix or LAX and then flying into HNL from there. Last year the overall roundtrip cost bottomed out around $450. However, with this post I’m now contemplating driving to Dallas in May and paying to park. Is this an offer I should jump on right away, or do you anticipate any further price drops in the future?

    Thanks!
    Geoff

    1. Geoff,

You never, know, but I’d say that this deal is excellent, and if you want to come, I’d take it rather than waiting and hoping. Just my thoughts.

      Aloha, Jeff
