  1. I’ll bet another reason is that airlines fired staff who did not take the shot and now find themselves short staffed.
You’ll never hear that in any news as it is considered a prohibited topic for discussion.

    1. The shots are a joke, have caused much more harm than good. Again, a prohibited topic that would expose the massive lies of our government and the media.

    2. It’s a Huge part of the problem that directly brings back the Conversation between airline CEO’S and President Biden. Biden had met with the Unions and somehow got their okay, then He told the Airlines to fire anyone unvaxed! Now looking back I wonder how they feel about their decisions. Loyalty is a 1 way Street and rarely comes from the top on down unless it’s from the Union’s, then it’s from the Top to the bottom of pockets, not saying whose! I’ve heard this described as “The Scam of All Humanity!”

  2. BOH something doesn’t seem right about the entire situation with the delays and cancelations of this many flights, was it a matter of not enough ground crew workers perhaps? Without adequate workers things cannot be cleared efficiently enough and ground stoppages occur often keeping planes in the air far beyond their ETA’S. Conversely planes on the ground don’t take to taxiing and take off on time. All of this ties into the other causing a nightmare of epic proportions. It doesn’t take much to begin this scenario.

  3. I hate to play winners and losers here, but we’re going to Maui in three weeks. Which restaurants in the Lahaina area are allowing walk-up meals without the long lines?

    1. I think the winner is gluten free soy chai lattes. Do you have a favorite dentist in Boston? I don’t want a loser, just a winner.

      Stay on topic Mr. C.

  4. The Operations Planning Dept needs to scale back their schedule flights that their offering!!! They need to know to chew up with some reasonable decisions before swallowing their pride!!!🤙🤙🤙

    1. Have you ever played Pool? Rack them and stack them as tight as you can, that’s their current plan. If they cut back on numbers the Airport loses money, Hawaii isn’t about that! It makes me wonder how much the Hawaiian Airports have raised the fees on the Airlines, is that another part of the problem with reduced flights? I Believe that there’s more causes than anyone is willing to state.

  5. If would have been nice to know how long those delays were. Without that information, I’m just assuming these were minimal delays and no big deal. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    1. Hi Terry.

Thanks! The airlines don’t need to provide any notice at all. But do keep checking before heading out. Also check the inbound flight that brings the aircraft to you and be sure it is operating normally. Flightaware will help with that.

      Aloha.
