Costco, Southwest and Alaska Airlines Team-Up For Act Now Savings

Beat of Hawaii is looking forward to another round of flying from and to Hawaii on Alaska Airlines and Southwest Airlines starting soon. We will travel across the U.S. from Hawaii and then back. We’ve been pleased with our experiences on both of these airlines and, each offers a unique and quality product that we have enjoyed.

But in the meantime, a trick we shared has returned and is valid only today. It saved us up to 14%.

Leave it to Costco again to have a Hawaii deal, valid through tomorrow, October 13 only, on all Southwest flights and routes. Plus a separate offer valid on all Alaska Airlines flights. Hawaii’s favorite big-box store has brought back the Southwest Airlines and Alaska Airlines gift cards, one of which has an added discount.

  1. Hi,

I was just looking at flights from Sacramento (SMF) to Maui (OGG) on Southwest and it seems like they have either stopped, or severely reduced, the availability of direct flights. I don’t think I have seen anything on here from you about that – are you aware?

    Thanks,

  2. I purchased one yesterday to send my daughter back to school in January when holiday pricing is still in effect. At least it saved me $70.
I appreciate your coverage on sales, especially on time sensitive offers such as these.
I would be interested on your take on using mileage credit cards for travel.

    1. Hi Kent.

Thanks for letting us know that it worked. We’ll plan to do an article about mileage credit cards for Hawaii travel.

      Aloha.
