Hawaii Deal Week Begins: Save ⅔ On Hawaiian Premium Upgrades $52

November 22, 2021 by Beat of Hawaii 6 Comments

Hawaiian Airlines A321neo Extra Comfort

This Hawaiian Airlines sale has kicked off the 2021 Hawaii cyber deals week with a great yet unusual offer. Premium upgrades like this are almost never on sale.

This is for their premium economy upgrade product called “Extra Comfort.” Today and tomorrow only, for a fee starting at just $52 per flight, depending on route and flight, guests enjoy significantly more legroom, early boarding, and priority security screening. This is a very good sale for those seeking to get more room on long flights to and from Hawaii.

Other amenities included.

With priority screening and early boarding, you’ll get through security faster, and have first-choice access to overhead compartments is an included amenity. Priority security screening is available in this offer at Honolulu, Las Vegas, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, and San Jose. Each Extra Comfort passenger is provided with their own A/C power outlet.

Book through Tuesday only, November 23, 2021.

Booking from today through tomorrow only, and travel from January 15 through March 13, 2022.

How to obtain this Extra Comfort upgrade offer.

Start the online purchase, then select a blue Extra Comfort seat in order to upgrade. The sale price will be automatically applied.

This Hawaii deal week sale is for flights from and to Las Vegas, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Oakland, Ontario, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle. It is not valid on flights from and to Austin, Boston, New York or Orlando nor does it apply to inter-island flights. It is available on routes served by both the Airbus A330 widebody and the A321 narrowbody aircraft

Beat of Hawaii editors have flown Extra Comfort many times. We consider it to be a good upgrade in terms of the significant extra space primarily, as well as early boarding and the other amenities. The longer the flight, the more it rocks. On the A330 especially, it is great.

Why are car rentals coming down on Maui but not on the Big Island?

I agree that Extra Comfort is excellent on Hawaiian. The legroom is excellent (6’3″ guy sitting next to me was comfortable) and the width of all coach seats on the 330 is 18″, which is quite generous. If you can afford the Extra Comfort seats, they are well worth it. I just wish a slightly upgraded meal service came with the seats…
