Beat of Hawaii editors have flown Extra Comfort many times. We consider it to be a good upgrade in terms of the significant extra space primarily, as well as early boarding and the other amenities. The longer the flight, the more it rocks. On the A330 especially, it is great.

I agree that Extra Comfort is excellent on Hawaiian. The legroom is excellent (6’3″ guy sitting next to me was comfortable) and the width of all coach seats on the 330 is 18″, which is quite generous. If you can afford the Extra Comfort seats, they are well worth it. I just wish a slightly upgraded meal service came with the seats…
