Hawaii Hotel Deals: How To Save 30% At Disney Aulani

The iconic Disney Aulani on the leeward coast of Oahu is currently offering savings up to 30% off (doesn’t apply to suites or 3-bedroom Grand Villas). If you’ve ever wanted to try staying here, but haven’t wanted to pay the normally steep prices that begin at $659 nightly, this may be the deal that clinches your next Hawaii vacation.

The property features 359 hotel rooms and nearly 500 vacation-club, timeshare villas. It covers 21 acres at Ko Olina and has been welcoming guests for over ten years. Rates include pools, beaches, select activities, and more.

This probably isn’t the hotel you’ll find us at, but a lot of you have asked about it repeatedly. If you stay there in the future or have in the past, please comment on Aulani and convince us to go.

Aulani is part of the Ko Olina Resort in Kapolei, on the other side of Oahu, and a 45 minute drive from Honolulu. It is a world unto itself. Aulani was one of the first Disney hotels not associated with a theme park.

When translated from Hawaiian, “Aulani” means “the place that speaks for the great ones.”

Here’s today’s Hawaii hotel deal for the Disney Aulani Resort and Spa, at Ko Olina.

With this great offer, the longer you stay, the more you save:

Save up to 30% on select rooms for stays of 5 or more nights
Save up to 25% on select rooms for stays of 4 nights

This offer is valid for consecutive-night stays, most nights August 23 through November 18, 2022, and November 26 through December 22, 2022.

Fine print:

Savings based on the non-discounted price for the same room for stays from August 23 through November 18, 2022; and from November 26 through December 22, 2022. Travel must be completed by December 23, 2022. Length of stay requirements apply, and cancelation of any nights of a stay will affect discount validity. Not valid on Suites and 3-Bedroom Grand Villas, or on previously booked rooms. Advance reservations required, and must be consecutive-night stays. Subject to availability as the number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited. Excludes applicable fees and taxes. Limit two (2) rooms per reservation and occupancy restrictions apply per room. Additional charges apply if more than two (2) adults per hotel room; not applicable for Suites or Villas. Offer applied once per reservation and isn’t valid in combination with any other hotel discounts or offers. Offer subject to restrictions and change or cancelation without notice. Select activities require additional fees.

  1. You both are my go to persons for knowledge about everything Hawaii. We are now empty nesters. We’re also Disney Vacation Club members. Aulani is simply stunning. It is a resort that does cater to families but we’ve been there 4X’s & have thoroughly enjoyed it. We tend to go in September or May so not as crowded. My suggestion is to go during those months & enjoy the resort. You maybe pleasantly surprised.

  2. We have stayed at Aulani and absolutely loved it! The attention to detail abs research that went into developing it can’t be beat. The dreamy location is close enough to enjoy things in busier areas (Waikiki) after a 20 minute drive without having to stay in that madness. To us, Skyscrapers are not what we want as part of our Hawaiian vacation. We already loved the Ko Olina area, so staying at Aulani was the icing on the cake! As a Disney specialist travel planner, most of my clients dream of staying at Aulani and rightly so!

  3. Save your time and money, the locals don’t
want you there anyway. Not much Aloha anymore.
I own in Hawaii and would go 2 to 3 times a year,
not anymore. I’ll visit the Mexican Riviera instead
    where my money is appreciated.

  4. If you can snag a deal and can afford it then go for it! It’s a spectacular resort with plenty of fun activities for the kids. There are a few beautiful pools as well as a great beach and snorkeling area. If you’re looking to avoid the hubbub of Waikiki this is your place. But be aware, it is far from many other Oahu activities. Also restaurants are expensive and limited within the resort. We are Vacation Club members so those villas have kitchens which is a big plus!

  5. BOH Bro’s
If it’s still available this is the Aulani deal I booked by chance on Costco Travel 2 weeks ago for our trip in October.

Costco Travel: Fall Resort Credit Promotion

    4 Night Reservation
    Standard-View Room

    USD 138 Costco Shop Card
    USD 150 resort credit
    USD 300 Instant Savings applied

    That’s a great value.

Like I’ve posted in the past on several trips we’ve enjoyed Ocean View, but now it’s more about value. Plus I booked another amazing deal through Costco for the second half of our trip for an Ocean view room on Waikiki Beach. Our last trip to BI was pretty quiet this trip we want to party and shop.

    1. Good luck finding the discount at least thru Halloween. Everything booked already. It seems that Aulani did not make available as many rooms as years past for the special, or limited the rooms this year. Have used the discount pre-pandemic on any type of room. Never had a problem getting the discount until this year.
