New Hawaii Flights From Delta and Hawaiian Airlines

New Hawaii flights are always welcome news as they bring with them the possibility of better pricing. Today we announce a new flight from Seattle and exciting inter-island competition to our wonderful but less traveled Lanai and Molokai.

Ohana by Hawaiian $59

At long last Hawaiian Airlines has completed certification for its new ATR-42 turbo props which will be plying the skies between Honolulu, Lanai and Molokai. This adds five new flights to their roster and provides one carrier through service from all of the airline’s mainland and Australasian cities.

Ohana by Hawaiian will commence with three flights to Molokai starting on March 11 and two flights to Lanai starting on March 18. An fare sale of $59 each way for tickets booked today through February 17 for travel through April 17, 2014 is now available.

After today’s announcement, Island Air matched Hawaiian’s $59 fare to Lanai with the same ticketing deadline and rules.

Delta Honolulu Flights Grow

Alaska Airlines now finds Delta Airlines competing in Seattle. Delta will add a second daily flight between Seattle and Honolulu beginning December 20, 2014. With this we expect to see more downward pressure on the cost of flights between the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii.

  1. Yo. What about Philadelphia to Kauai. When this weather is killing us, we need a Kauai beach. Like now.
