  1. I have to question the ethics of the few wealthy people who buy up beach property and remove its’ use from the many average American families.
    This can only be remedied by Hawaii designating it’s remaining beaches as public parks.
    Kauai business that depend on tourist trade will have to close, because they need high numbers of tourists to survive.
    The remaining beaches are now over crowded with parking limited and sometimes unavailable.
    People will choose to spend their vacation monies vacation monies elsewhere. We are making our last trip to Kauai in a few days. I will miss going there in the future, but we have become frustrated with the overcrowding, created by much of the island now being off limits.

We were standing on the swinging bridge above the Hanapepe river, the sound of the timbers and cables creaking under the strain of its own weight was like an old ship at sea, the winds whirling out of the verdant valley, heading to the unknown quietly passing by whispered “steady as she goes” a rooster crowed and woke me from slumbering thoughts….
