  1. Okay,I will Admit that many, many, years ago I was on the TA Advisory Board. Schmuck comes to mind now as I look back on it. I was traveling quite a lot back then both in and out of the country, they invited and I wrote, at least mine were honest. As I began paying attention I noticed discrepancies, lots of them, and plenty of Lies. Eventually that’s why I perted ways with TA and suggest that either perform due diligence constantly or find a better platform for your travel information.

  2. Remembering when every school vacation would bring with it a deluge of erroneous negative feedback from bored students trying to spice up their pitiful existence. Things were much easier then. Today it’s Big Business and if they don’t have what you want/need just give them a little time, money driven existence to the max I guess. Then again what isn’t among some!

  3. Personally I’d never listen to them anyway. I ask locals and people that I actually know who have been there.

  4. We used to travel a lot (not as much since my injury), and TA used to contact me asking for our opinions. I first learned about phoney tactics when I saw “construction in hotel made noise we couldn’t stand.” We called the hotel to ask when construction would be over and they said they are not under construction. TA told us it was a common trick against competitors!

BTW we Always call to ask about noise, what’s out of order, etc.

  5. Aloha BOH Bro’s

It’s not just TripAdvisor’s fake reviews that can ruin a trip, but their Hawaiian Travel Forum that’s dominated by about half a dozen individuals offering advise about properties & restaurants that they never stayed at or sat down for a meal in.

Unsurprisingly to my wife I’m currently banned from TripAdvisor for calling out these so called fake Hawaiian travel experts for just that offering bad advise and ruining individuals Hawaiian vacations.

    Aloha TripAdvisor.
