Wow how horrible and miserable it would be to fly on a cramped full 737 over 2 hours with trash everywhere and people lined up for the lavs and the flight attendants unable to do a cart service. Oh that’s right they don’t do that any more! Give me a widebody any day over the ocean. The US airlines have hit rock bottom and people should complain!
Happy to see many flights to Hawaii beginning — we are planning to fly to Honolulu from Vancouver and would appreciate any information as to flight deals for Canadians who will be going to Hawaii this coming winter. Thx

Just FYI for travelers to Kauai: my husband and I along with our 3 kids arrived yesterday and had booked a car rental through Costco Travel for our 10 days here. When we were dropped off at the Budget car center, there were no cars available. Over 50 people were in line to get on a waiting list for cars. They also were providing a shuttle to resorts but if you were staying at an Airbnb or condo, you were told to get an Uber or Taxi. They still have not contacted us a day later about a car. J

Good luck. We are on day 3 and still no car. If you reserved as Fastbreak, you should be fine. Those were the only people who got cars during the hour and a half we were there.
Am loyal to Delta and travel a lot for business .Will be a loooong time before I would even consider a Max flight and would change/ cancel if I were changed to one.
United has had the MAX9 in the June schedule between Los Angeles and Maui for a few weeks now.
We just flew the Max on Southwest on a mainland trip. Honestly, I could not tell the difference, other than the plane was new and not as beat up interior as the aging 737s.
At the moment the plane is the least of my concerns. When I go on a vacation I want it to feel like a vacation. Right now The friendly skies aren’t all that friendly, the locals would like your money but they would just as soon you weren’t around, and uncertainty about Covid restrictions or the lack there of makes it A little daunting to make the trip right now.
The Max aircraft will be the most inspected and scrutinized aircraft in the skies today! If a person is scarred, then they should take a cruise to Hawaii…

Las time I flew Delta from Las Vegas to Detroit, compared to spirits newer planes everything about the Delta plane was older and ghetto, even the flight crew… I would avoid them, and I read that there part of flights to Japan, which sucks cause that’s where I want to go when it opens.. Reviews are not good
