More Hawaii deals again today, with more of the cheapest Chicago or Los Angeles to Hawaii flights seen in a long time. This is an improved, lower-cost version of last week’s fare war on Los Angeles to Hawaii flights, with Chicago added. If you’re anywhere near Chicago or Los Angeles, this is another great day to get a rock bottom Hawaii airfare deal on five airlines to three islands. Which airline will you choose?
Spring break in Hawaii for $94! No joke.
No, this is for real if you act now. This deal comes from the ongoing fare war between Hawaiian Airlines and its competitors Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines.
We still don’t know how much competitive pressure could reduce this fare even more. This comes at a time when anything is possible in that regard. But in any event, this is a great time to buy.

Awesome deals but unfortunately it’s useless to me since I need to go to Kauai. With the current situation regarding the quarantine situation, no one in their right mind is going to vacation on this island until the quarantine is lifted. Simple as that. So…Kauai remains shutdown after a year already. Sure appreciate the time and effort you guys put forth. Honestly, without your valuable efforts, we would remain somewhat in the dark about what is going on over there. So for that, I honestly say ‘Thank You’
Beat of Hawaii says
Hi Moonbaka.
Thanks so much for that. We hope that you can return to Kauai again soon.
Aloha.

Mahalo, guys! I booked my fight to Kauai today. Round trip, $409, however I need extra Comfort due to blood clotting issues so I had to pay more but I still think that’s a fabulous deal. If any of you criticize me for coming to Kauai, I have a home here. I’m going for my second vaccination in two weeks, and I pretty much stay at home… even have my groceries delivered so I would say that I’m a pretty good candidate. I’ll be staying for the rest of the year and I’m very excited about it. I miss my home!
Beat of Hawaii says
Hi Claudia.
Glad to hear that worked out for you. Regards.
Aloha.

Well from Chicago to Kona, which is posted as $167, is well over $500 from March to May. Couldn’t find a fare even close to that! Anyone actually find a $167 fare?

Hi. We are planning an August trip to Kauai & finding rental cars far more expensive than normal- will they possibly drop closer to August? Thanks
Beat of Hawaii says
Hi Andy.
A couple of thoughts here. First, yes, likely will come down if demand isn’t as expected, and it is too early to know. Second, major consolidation has occurred in the car rental industry and that will generally drive prices higher in Hawaii and everywhere else
Aloha.

LOL, Oh now there’s some priceless irony…the best Spring Break price to Hawaii is Only to/from the most densely populated, and the worst Covid infected area on the West Coast (possibly in the country).
The obtuse and utter lack of vision from the Airline industry is overtly hypocritical. It’s either a “pandemic” or it’s not, you don’t get to play it both ways, but apparently they do.
When the Airlines acknowledge they want to protect the Hawaiian islands, by creating self imposed (and adhering to government imposed) measures, yet push the cheapest fares from one of the most populated and most infected areas in the country, it’s blatantly insincere.
I can’t be the only one to see this obvious duplicity? 🤷♂️🤦♂️

I totally agree with Jim.
The unheard of low flight prices during Spring Break are so tempting but the government mandate/plea to stay close to home and avoid non essential travel makes it ironic. We had to cancel our March trip to Kona as our Prime Minister has advised against all Spring Break travel for Canadians. Hopefully the lure of cheap flights doesn’t come at the cost of more lives…
Jim R. says
Thanks, Kelly, but there more to it…
My point was that this is clearly about money for these big businesses, not about the well being of the islands, or about the truth of whether these lockdowns (some of which are draconian measures) are justified.
Over the last ten months, much has been decided based on a lack of scientific data, and false data. Even the total number of deaths here in the US have been tainted from the beginning, yet people have been conditioned to repeat the tainted numbers as fact, because it’s all they know.
Most people don’t do any research, and just accept and buy into what their told. People feel the need to believe their Leaders, without questioning or challenging them with discrepancies revealed. It’s part of the problem, sadly.
JWU says
What “tainted”days you referring to?
Over 400,000 deaths, are you saying data has been tainted to make any difference in how severe this virus is? Like, are we 100,000 off? Or 200,000 off? Or just say ZERO DEATJS? I don’t think so. I trust our science enough they try to get things right down to the exact number, that’s just how science works. Now, when it comes down to the government keeping track of thinks, THAT is another story.
Rob L. says
I think you are being naive. You can’t accept the advertised number of deaths when there are proven instances where people have died from other causes, but if they had tested positive, they are listed as a COVID death. We even have a verified case where a motorcyclist died in an accident, but when the coroner tested his blood, he was found to be COVID positive, and his death was listed as caused by COVID. The Care Act of March 2020 provided $13,000 to medical care facilities as reimbursement for the care they provided for each COVID death, so right there the system was ripe for abuse.
Dennis D. says
You are exactly right, Jim.

Aloha and woah! Those are some great deals!

Why is flights only inbound to Hawaii? Us Hawaii residents would like some deals to take us to the mainland…?
Beat of Hawaii says
Hi Chala.
The deals we write about are virtually all available starting either on the mainland or in Hawaii.
Aloha.
