  1. We arrived on Oahu for our honeymoon on Nov 27,1982. The beachfront hotels were in the midst of cleaning up from Hurricane Iwa. Quite a mess. Be prepared and stay safe everyone! Aloha

  2. First it was Covid, then there was a nasty flood that affected the bridge up in Wailua with so much property damage there and in Hanalei, now this coming, hopefully de-escalating by the time it reaches Kauai. Here in Ohio, it is looking pretty tame right now which is what we needed after our 5 months over there. Be safe and let us know if you need TP….

  3. Hopefully the tropical storm (or hurricane) will weaken very fast. Stay safe, healthy and dry!

  4. Please stay safe, be prepared, and be informed as best as possible. Mahalo, BOH, for the above info. We’ll be watching and praying from SoCAL for everyone’s safety through the season.
    Aloha nui loa

    1. Mahalo Beat of Hawai’i for everything you do for everyone else.
You’re everyday heroes and we’re blessed to have you informing all of us.
Stay safe and sound during all these trying times.
      Thoughts and prayers to all.
      Aloha

  5. Stay safe and our prayers for a changed trajectory or a downgrade in intensity. Sending Aloha to all Ohana.

  6. It really isn’t funny on any level, but what more can happen in 2020? Perhaps we don’t want that answered. Good luck, take care, and be safe.

  7. I’ve already had my eye on that storm and have been praying for all of Hawaii. We live in Florida so watch NOAA often during hurricane season. We’ve already cancelled our September trip to Kauai due to the Covid travel ban. Thank you for always being on top of what’s going on in the islands. Your news is always real and very much appreciated. Blessings to you and all our island friends.
