New Year Hawaii Airfare Sale $149+ Each Way

Overall here are the best Hawaii airfare deals we’ve seen this fall. Hawaiian Air has just announced a 2012 fare sale to Maui and Oahu from their Mainland cities. This is round three of their previous sales we’ve been covering. The good news is that this time prices are the lowest they’ve been, down as much as $45 each way from their last sale. Availability has also been extended by more than a month until mid-March.

Here’s today’s Hawaiian Air sale:

Fares are one-way, plus tax, based on round trip.

Purchase by October 31 for travel from January 5 through March 14.

  • Las Vegas $174
  • Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego and Seattle $169
  • Oakland, Portland, San Francisco and San Jose $164

    1. @Michael – You book at Alaskaairlines.com. The link is in the post.
@ Cat – Thanks. That wasn’t advertised, and yes, that’s very reasonable.

      Aloha, Jeff

  2. Had to grab that deal. We got non-stop LAS-OGG for the $174 price. This is as good as we got last year in the “off” season.

Jeff-thanks for the heads up on this deal!

  3. GRRRRR !

    What about Kauai ???

Visitor numbers are way up on Kauai compared to say Maui …. last week Maui was down 5 % and Kauai up over 20 %

Don”t the airlines look at these numbers ?

    1. Thanks for comments.

@Bob: the airlines don’t care. Hawaiian has no direct lift to Kauai and therein lies the problem.

@Julie. There will be many more sales, so stay tuned. Kauai will get some love albeit never as much as Maui for the above reason. The first half of March will be Spring break, so I don’t expect that to be on sale.

      Aloha, Jeff
