  1. There are millions of folks on the Midwest/East Coast (on the Mainland) who have never been to Hawai’i. A large number of them have thought about visiting it; However, b/c of the distance and/or cost — folks have a tendency to visit the Caribbean for the exact same reason. When will SW offer such a promotion to those of us who live in the Midwest and/or East Coast? What’s the point of always offering such deals to the West Coast, when there is a nation of folks who have (yet) to experience what Hawai’i has to offer in terms of paradise?

  2. The discount applies only to California departures or destinations … the official Terms and Conditions:

“Offer is valid only for select continental U.S., continental U.S. to/from Hawaii, and international flights with California (BUR, FAT, LAX, LGB, OAK, ONT, PSP, SAN, SBA, SFO, SJC, SNA,) as either the origin or destination.”

    1. Where do I enter the promo card? Or is the discount already included in the $105 price?
      Thanks, Donna

      1. Hi Donna.

Use the link we provided that goes right to the deal. That will include the promo code, and yes, $105 was the best price we found. It isn’t that clear so the confusion is understandable. You’ll know that the discount was provided because the original price will have a line through it.

  3. SWA continues their attempt to grow as much as they can at the expense of Hawaii. Their decision making about what and when to add flights is made thousands of miles away with little clue for the local effect. I saw their CEO on Hawaii News Now in July saying he was in Hawaii for the first time and though he had only been here 24 hours he really liked it. First time ever in Hawaii!
