5 thoughts on “Take Advantage of Two Fast-Paced Hawaii Travel Changes”

  1. Our rental property in Ko Olina has seen multiple visitors from the UK and Korea this year. Korea visitors are new for us. No one from Japan this year yet.

  2. Has anyone ever noticed that when a business has a “Going Out of Business Sale” people tend to flock in numbers? Hawaii is attempting to appease the residents and subsequently are viewed as having a “Closing Sign” put on it’s Islands, is this drawing more tourists by air and cruise lines? It could be viewed as the “Last Call” at your favorite bar when the Last drinks are served prior to closing for the night. It’s “Possible” but is something else at work? There’s really nothing New or Exciting to account for the uptick in Tourism, the Prices are Increasing without end. Discounts are available because of the lack of expected Japanese Tourists but that is just a recent revelation. Understanding this trend may take a while and plenty of research

  3. The Japanese Tourists may be sitting out waiting and watching. They want to see when Hawaii will have an abundance of foods that appeal to their appetite, at the same time observing the conflicts arising between residents and their mainland fellow country members. The Rhetoric from Hawaii is Vile and Disgusting, undoubtedly Disturbing to the normally peaceful and quiet Japanese who probably don’t want to be caught up in any of the fighting. They undoubtedly will come, but in what numbers and when? Maybe this is a taste of what Hawaii Needs, Less Tourists! We will see.

  4. Thank you for this information. I so want to return in 2023, and maybe it will become a reality 4 months out of my vacation time. But, I am sure the prices will still be outrageious from my income. I could though check out prices on Oahu. It is not my dream island, but if prices are better, it would be a nice way to experience its hidden beauty. Thank you again for your sharing of important island stories!
