  1. I’m so happy to hear that this electric vehicle is on it’s way to Hawaii. I’m hoping it will take business away from the high polluting noisy moped rentals. Hardly anyone on the island has a need to drive more than 100 miles in a day so this could even be a great primary vehicle for us here.

  3. What a bizarre article. Who cares what Elon thinks? He’s their competition. Are we really upset about businesses coming to Hawaii because they might interfere with local trucks? Looking forward to renting something new and fun.

    1. I had no idea there were so many pedestrian accidents! Could it be because a red light in Honolulu has 5 cars continue thru the intersection, after the light has turned red? This always shocks me when driving there. I’m from Canada and we have red light cameras which generate millions to the police coffers annually. The fine is very hefty so people avoid running yellow lights in fear of the ticket arriving in the mail a couple weeks later
