Absolutely would feel safer. Why has it taken so long?
This is very positive for Foreign visitors as the Federal rules will permit foreign vaccinations with suitable proof. This should make life much easier for vaccinated Foreign visitors given the lack of Hawaii partners in most countries.

I would way prefer the only requirement be a Negative test for All arriving flights 72 hours prior to departure! it worked before the Vaccine, an across the board vaccine mandate, would be a Death Knell for the entire Hawaiian tourist industry. C’mon Where’s the common sense? do I have to get a Booster every six months for the rest of my life?
My neighbor wanted to test the test. Went to Walgreens as they are on the approved list for Hawaii. His test was to have two tests at two different Walgreens with in 15 mins of each other. Here is the results. One negative, and one positive. He called the testing company and was told it may have been a false positive. He also has been vaccinated. He is leaving for Maui this AM. Can’t wait to hear about his trip.

I’m vaccinated as well as recovered from a breakthrough case of the Delta variant after being vaccinated, so I feel more like an observer, though I would support this.
How can this have any real chance of passing an evenly divided U.S. Senate? I would think all 50 GOP Senators would be against it right off the bat. Democrats would all have to be united in support of this, and we can all see how likely that would be.

There is no fraud proof process to determine whether an individual has contracted CV-19. A doctor ‘s note? Think phony vaccine cards aren’t easy to get. Uploading vaccine info into a proven app. Is the only sure fire method.
A 5-12 hour plane ride with unvaccinated, presenting phony proof along with sometimes unruly fellow passengers is an invitation to exposure.
Established fact and logic. A past CV-19 case + vaccine has been proven to supply increased protection than natural antibodies alone.
Just get the jab.

So please tell me how one uploads an antibody test to safe travels. All unvaccinated and wanting to travel have to submit a PCR. If that’s what you mean, then by all means, but refusing to get the jab means you test. Period.

Because Big Pharma can’t make $55 billion +++ in profit if they don’t push vaccines on all of humanity, and boosters for the rest of your life… Ps. I know tens of people who quickly recovered from any degree of Covid with therapeutics
So if I don’t have this straight, please educate me. You aren’t willing to protect yourself and those you care for because you don’t want to add to drug company profits, but you are ok with unspecified “therapeutics” produced by said drug companies? Do you take aspirin? Do you partake in other meds at the benefit of drug company profits?
Aside from inconsistency, if you are truly on board with reducing profit, which I wholeheartedly agree, write your federal reps., call demanding they include Medicare negotiation with drug producers, use as does Canada getting drugs at pennies on the dollar.
