Whenever my hubby and I are in Oahu we visit Waimānalo Beach, Ko’Olina Beach Park, Hanauma Bay, Makaha Beach Park, and Mailiili Beach (religiously).
That rain/flood thing we had on Maui/Kihei a few weeks ago, I would say washed out about 70% of the beeches in the Kihei/Resort area. I would guess that in a few months things would get somewhat back to normal. But it surely did change the look of the beeches in those areas.

Hands down best is green sands beach at South point. No rocks, huge waves, wind and sharks. Well worth the rough ride and tricky claim up and down to the sands.
My favorite beaches in Hawaii are: 1) Kee Beach on Kauai, 2) Hanalei Beach on Kauai and 3) Napili Beach on Maui.
After 35 years, Waimea Bay has gotten too crowded, but in the late ’80’s, early ’90’s still easily accessible. D.T. Fleming in Kapalua, Wailea and Kaanapali (where it’s hard to leave), Poipu in Kauai, all as well as Waikiki Beach from the Sheraton Waikiki breakwater Royal Hawaiian to the Moana Surfrider, before it becomes Kuhio Beach, easy access. Hotel stays usually dictate Beach choices, so with only pleasure the goal, after 20+ years of business travel, Waikiki remains our first choice.
