  1. Aloha, guys! Love this list. Made me smile because I do some of those things to “take me back” to Kauai when I need a fix. It like talkin story with my fave uncles.🤙

  2. LOVE this list. So applicable to those of us to whom the honorable name of “part time local” is bestowed. Just sent a text message to a friend who is visiting Kauai for the first time and asked her how long she will be on island. Oh yeah, I am ready. October will find me on Kauai for six amazing weeks. Gotta break out the ukulele and start practicing.

  3. Yes we are on schedule next month been to all the island hike to Lava hill in Hilo etc just praying lockdown not gonna happen can’t wait to be in the island and share the good times to the world staying safe and healthy is the key wear mask and sanitize or wash hands often. We prepared with all requirements from the Hawaii Government and ready to be in the island.

  4. Love all the helpful hints…I’ve been doing them all on a regular basis! I’ll be looking to rebook our postponed October trip ASAP! Thanks for all you do at keeping us informed

  5. Thank you for all the timely info. I have been waiting for the next Southwest booking advancements…now into April I believe. The Southwest effect is on for me.
We have booked our 50th Anniversary to Kauai for Jan 17 – Feb 10th
$341.00 Round trip non-stop both ways per person from Phoenix, AZ. (basic fare was $22.00 less). American Air.
In 50 years we have been to the Islands 10 times and Kauai 5 times.
Very hopeful that this will happen..

  6. I haven’t commented in a while but I’ve been reading. I so appreciate this positive post. It was much needed right now. Mahalo. 🙂

  7. Please leave Molokai off your islands list…no need for anyone to go there, nothing to see…Thanks
    David
