Yes, of course, there is personal opinion at play when it comes to a quality experience on an airline. Okay, I’ll check out the link provided. Thanks for your reply.
Love your site. It was extremely helpful when we planned our last vacation in 2016 to the Big Island. We will be in Kauai 11/3-11/10 and want to add a couple of days before to spend in Oahu so we can visit and pay our respects at Pearl Harbor. Flying from Bay Area in CA (San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland). When should we book flights? I’ve seen prices from $482 and up.
Thank you in advance for your input and for your website!
Thank you. Because you are flying on Saturdays it isn’t likely that you’ll catch any sale prices. Therefore $500 might remain the price and it won’t matter when you buy. Potential to save $50 to $100 if you can fly mid-week and sales for those dates coming in next few months.
Thanks for the info. We are probably going to fly to Oahu on the Wednesday or Thursday before our week on Kauai. We are stuck with flying home on Saturday. Maybe the midweek flight out with save us a few dollars.
Again, thank you for taking the time to reply to so many people. Truly helpful.
I am needing to purchase 2 round trip tickets to Honolulu Hawaii for September. What month would you suggest I buy the tickets. I would love to land a great deal. When do you think Southwest will start flying to Hawaii. I would love to book my flight with them. Thanks in advance for you help.
Origination city was not listed. For September travel we’ll see new sales starting anytime, so subscribe to our emails and you’ll be the first to know.
Great site! Just happened upon it. I’m planning a trip to the Big Island in November. Fares from Kansas City (I know, midwest makes it more expensive) are currently running about $675 and up. Do you know if they’ll change much in the coming months? I was thinking of waiting until around the first of August to get my airline tickets. Any thoughts/insights?
Thanks!
Thank you. Price will largely depend on flying mid-week, duration of travel, and whether one-stop or two. You might see fares for early November at just over $500. But of course they will have two stops and take 12-15+ hours. Flying one-stop and about 10 hours might cost $250 more. Those prices might show up in next 90 days or so. Ugg.
Traveling from SEA to OGG, May 24th-31st 2018. Looks like I just missed a good price that was up this weekend. Whoops. Fares today are about $150 more. Do you think they’ll go down? Or should I just buy now? They’re at $575.
I’m trying to see my Sister. I have been looking for a long time. Do you ever have sales from Amarillo to Honolulu? If not we would have to travel from Albuquerque or Dallas. Please let me know. Thank you
Marcelina
Amarillo is going to be more expensive. Either Albuquerque or Dallas would be better in terms of price. As an example of best case costs, there are fares just under $500RT in May.
Hi. I would like to plan a trip to Maui out of Detroit. If travel dates are flexible, generally, what weeks of the year are the cheapest to fly from my city (I am a time share owner so Fridays/Saturdays are our only days to fly)? Is 90 days in advance the “sweet” spot to purchase? Would flying out of Windsor or Chicago be significantly less?
LOVE your articles and all the great advice.
Thank you for your help
Larry C.
There are not specific weeks that are cheapest. The article you are commenting on gave the season dates for lowest prices and so anywhere in there should work. No exact sweet spot of timing. For example you could buy right now for April/May, Fall fares should be somewhat better in next few months.
Detroit will at this point probably be the cheapest. Expect to pay from high $600’s, with a good (12hr) connection. A little less for a very long connection.
Aloha mai kakou,
I love reading the Beat especially since we bring our mo’opuna (grandchildren in from the mainland for the summer). However, for the kamaaina does the Beat ever cover the best time for local residents to fly to the mainland and reap the benefits of saving money on air transportation, too? If you have been and I missed it, e kala mai i’au.

Haunani O.
Thank you. It is pretty much identical in both directions. The only differences are slight – like at the holidays, the departure days may vary a bit here and there.
I am planning a trip to Hononlulu Hawaii September 22nd through October 1st for my nieces wedding. I will be flying out of Detroit Michigan to Hononlulu Hawaii. Can you tell me when I might be able to purchase 2 cheap tickets so I can attend the wedding.
Currently in mid-$900’s with reasonable (12 hour) connection on multiple airlines. Could drop by up to $200 in general time-frame, but probably not for your Saturday departure. Best hope might be around $850 with a Saturday. Could happen in next few months.
Aloha BoH
Thank you so much for all your information so far and answering our difficult questions 🙂
We are a family of 6 and have 3 weeks in the US booked – actually just a return flight to Oakland. I have planned a one way road trip to Seattle and as a dream trip of a life time surprise wanted to book a week on your amazing island.
SEA to HNL on August 22nd and returning to SF Bay area on August 29th (flight back to London is on 30th).
Todays how long is a piece of string is,
1. Previously back in Jan you advised to hold off until the sales in Spring for late Summer.
a) According to previous years, does that normally commence?
b) I received an alert today for a reduction in price from HNL to OAK with Alaska direct.
Down to $199 one way. This seems a great price. Too good to miss?
2. I’m still watching for any price drops for the SEA to HNL leg. I would prefer a direct flight (save time etc as we only have a week and would have done enough travel).
Its about $249 with Alaska direct (evening flight) but United have what may be a very competitive price which is $181.
3. Being a family of 6 and International travellers we will have bags so if we did have an indirect flight would we have to pay 2 x baggage allowance for SEA-HNL indirect?
Interested to know what you think about the above as your words of wisdom are greatly appreciated and trying to keeps costs to a minimum to make this affordable and not break the bank by too much more.
Thanks for all the advice so far. I feel like I have been playing a game of poker the last few months but you have potentially already saved me upwards of $300 to go towards booking accommodation for the 6 of us which is my next challenge 🙂
1. We haven’t really seen sales for fall to any large degree. They could happen at any time. Each year is different and there are many variables. We’ve discussed those in play at length in the post that you are commenting on. This year should be better than most, but no one knows when sales will occur. $400 RT is always a good price. Yes it can get better – as you probably saw when we recently had $99 fares for spring. But can you afford to wait and see – that’s probably the more important issue than the rock bottom price. Usually going for lowest prices means you are completely flexible, even as to whether you take the trip or not.
2. Yes those $181 fares are very attractive. But they have a stop. Does that work for you? Otherwise, what we said above applies here as well.
3. Yes you would. And interlining of baggage and security re-clearance can also become issues.
We hope to go to Maui in October 2018. Per your post we should start looking for flights in July 2018. We need to schedule our vacation days at work now though.
What days of the week are likely to be the best priced for flying in October.
Thank you! Martin
Do you have any experience with Alaska airlines cancelling flight routes? We are planning a trip from Boston to Kona, (8/29), inter island travel, with the last legs Honolulu to Lax, (9/11) then a few days later Lax to Boston (9/15). The time for some of the routes has changed, and the 10:30 ish flight from Honolulu to Lax has disappeared. I’m afraid to buy tickets, worried that they will be changed. I’ve already made our timeshare reservations which we can’t change. The pricing seems to have increased dramatically over the past few weeks as well. Any advice? Thanks!
HI!,
We are planning a family vacation from 12/27-1/4/19 and Im very torn about whether or not to purchase tickets now or wait a little bit. They are pretty pricey. We live in the midwest but could fly out of really any city to minimize cost on the flight from mainland to HNL. Also, not sure if its worth the risk of waiting to see if southwest will be going by then. Any advice? or tips on how to minimize flight costs?
Thanks in advance
Billy
There won’t be deals for those dates in any event – that’s virtually 100% certain. Suggest buying now. You can look at flights from lower cost cities on west coast like San Jose or San Diego. But usually airlines have that all figured out better than we can and the savings if any won’t be worth the hassle. But do give it a try and see.
On average, about how cheap can tickets get flying from Phoenix to Kauai during Thanksgiving week? Was hoping to go 11/15 – 11/22. I’ve been checking and price has been all over the board.
Hi, I’m wondering about a trip to Hawaii over Thanksgiving.
Which airports might be the cheapest to leave from? I know that Southwest probably won’t be flying to Hawaii by then, but I do have points and can use them to get us close to a better airport.
Can we just expect to pay a lot more because airlines jack up their prices over holidays?
Mahalo!
which days of the week tend to be the best for lowest airfare to/from Hawaii in June?? looking for 2019 but assume certain days provide better airfare?
Thank you.

Hello! I am traveling with a group of 4 from Los Angeles to Maui from 8/12/18 – 8/19/18. Fares right now are averaging $550. Should I buy now, or do you think I’d benefit from waiting? Thank you for your help!
Price isn’t bad but might or might not improve. Issue is whether you’re comfortable waiting and not knowing which way it might go. Best possible price would probably be about $100 less. Your Sunday departure may also preclude best price.
Hello! We are planning a trip to Oahu from January 2-7. When would you recommend would be a good time to purchase airfare? I’m keeping an eye on the cost, but was wondering when is the absolute latest I should purchase. I hate to purchase now and then have the cost go down. Thank you!
You didn’t say where you are flying from. So generally speaking, your departure is going to still be in peak travel season, which means it should be bought soon. Your return is off-peak. So it isn’t a simple answer unfortunately. If you have a chance, let us know where you are traveling from, as that could make a difference.
May I ask where you see $600 roundtrip? I’ve checked AA, Delta and Alaska. AA’s cheapest is about $878. Thank you!
Beat of Hawaii
Hi Amanda.
Not sure what you are asking for. If you’d like to give cities and date range, we’ll be happy to try to look.
Aloha.
Amanda M.
I thought you had stated you found $600 roundtrip flights from Albuquerque, NM to Honolulu. Thank you for your help.
Beat of Hawaii
Okay got it. $661 on American with two stops outbound and one on return, for your exact dates. Aa6030/AA253/HA295. Return is AA239/AA6024.
Aloha.
Amanda M.
Hmmm…ok thanks for checking. I’m not finding that cost roundtrip at all event with the two stops. Oh well, I’ll keep checking.
Joe
Hi, Traveling from SLC to OGG on Oct 17-Oct 31. Have to use Delta with some points. When is the best time to book. I heard not to do it to early, prices come down at about 3 to 4 months out.
When to buy is often market specific as well. SLC rarely sees sales and that may remain true until more flights occur, which is likely at some point. Currently pricing at over $700 and may or may not improve. If you can flex your dates even one day later, you could save over $50, if that helps.
I am looking to travel to Hawaii in mid-late January 2019. The dates are flexible. The ideal plan is to fly into Honolulu from the Washington, DC area, and then fly out of OGG to return home.
When would be a good time to book the flights, and what prices should I be aiming for? The prices are currently around $750.00 round trip + baggage 9 months out.
Looking to book a trip February of 2019. Looking to leave from either SLC or LAS and flying to HNL. When would be the best time to book a flight? Also would it be worth it to wait until Soutwest starts selling tickets to see if prices drop from other carriers?
First, Southwest probably won’t help you as they will first fly only from California (that’s their words not ours). It is too early to book for then. Maybe late summer to fall. Neither of those has very good deals for the most part, as you’re undoubtedly aware. You’re looking at about $500 RT.
Seeing prices of over $700 RT for flights from SFO, OAK, SJC to any of the islands during the first week of January (~3-7). Why so expensive? Should I expect a drop in the coming months? Thanks in advance for your time and thoughts!
Could well come down if you wait, with target in high $300’s. At the moment there is $363 RT on Delta with one stop (SFO-OGG). That’s a good price if you’d rather lock in flights.
We are planning to travel to Maui October 8-20 2018 flying out of San Luis Obispo Ca. Should we wait to buy flight tickets? They have gone up by about $100.00 per ticket in the last week or so
My family of 3 will be flying to Hawaii Int from Denver, CO from Friday, July 13th to Friday, July 20th 2018. I found airfare for all 3 of our tickets, including taxes and fees, for $2,245 total (about $748/ticket). I thought that was a pretty good deal considering other flights I’ve seen go to nearly $1,400/ticket (yikes!!). Do you think the deal I found is good, or should I wait it out a bit longer to see if flight prices will continue to drop?
From Denver to Hawaii for $750 in summer is a good price, no matter which airport (you said Hawaii Int, which doesn’t mean anything). Suggest buying if connection is good. And get car rental now too.
Good Morning,
We will be traveling to Maui from Spokane, WA in December. We have already booked our condo, but I am wondering when to book airfare? Our condo is saved for Dec. 15-Jan. 1. We were planning on using our Alaskaair companion fares, but the total will still be $6,000. Would you recommend booking now or waiting to book?
Mahalo,
Joelle
That is peak holiday season and availability is going to be very tight, so suggest you get it booked ASAP. Looking like about $1,500 per person. Also don’t forget to book a car now too.
Hello,
Our family of 12 will be traveling from Los Angeles to Maui the week of 6/10-6/17 (Sunday to Sunday). These dates are dictated by the timeshare. Currently, prices are about $600 R/T. Do you think now is a good time to purchase tickets or do you think the prices may come down?
My family is planning on flying from SoCal to Honolulu for a 6 day trip the week of Feb16-24 2019. Are there any certain days to fly that is cheaper than the others, if so which day? What would be your estimate price roundtrip to look for this time period? It’s so great that you guys help others, keep up the great work!
Thank you. Mid-week, as indicated in post. Hard to know what will be shaking nearly a year from now. Probably plan on $400 RT then be pleasantly surprised if something better happens. Watch with us for sales, but generally summer or beyond or perhaps when Southwest announces their Hawaii flights.
Aloha,
Do you think I should book flights now for end of May to early June travel? I have been tracking flights everyday and it’s around $600 per person from Oak/SFO to HNL. Do you think prices will come down at all? Should I just book now? I’m afaid it’ll get more pricey if I wait.
Thank you for you help and time,
Stace
Hard to say. If today’s fares are any indication, there may be more deals ahead. If you’re returning by mid-week during first week of June you should be okay. We’d look for a fare of no more than $440 RT.
Flying in late July, early August of this year. We are flying from Tampa to Kauai, Kauai to Maui, Maui to Honolulu, Honolulu to Tampa. As a former 808 resident, I certainly understand to book the inter island flights in advance. Any tips on best time to buy for the best prices? or the airline with the best prices? Thank in advance. Aloha.
We wouldn’t expect any deals on inter-island for your time frame. Thus best to buy now. Which airline – there is just Hawaiian Airlines at this time. As for mainland to Hawaii travel, doubtful that will improve for your dates. Mostly about $900 RT, except we do see low $800’s RT starting last day of July. Those are for mid-week travel.
Hi! My husband and I are planning on going mid December and wanted to know when it would be the best time to buy flight tickets? We would really appreciate your help, thanks !
That’s what this post is all about. If you’ll be returning to mainland by about December 12, you can probably do best to wait until summer or even after. If your trip extends beyond that it will be high season and should be bought now.
we are planning on getting married in 2020 and flying out from OMA to HNL. when is the best time to fly as prices range from 700 and up i saw where there was a few 600s but i know that changes per year on price. so i want to know how early should i book and in what month area or time frame is best? thanks in advance
Spring after spring break and fall are going to be the best times every year. You’ll do best booking those generally 3 to 5 months in advance. For reasonably quick connection, expect to be in low $700’s RT.
Traveling to Oahu, specifically Honolulu for my honeymoon from Sept 4- Sept 14 of 2018. When is a good time to buy tickets? I’m from New York City.
Would greatly appreciate some advice
We’re looking to book round trip flights for September 2018 from Oakland to Lihue. So far, the flights seem to be staying about the same; is it too early to book? We want to get on the one nonstop flight through our mileage plan, and so far there are seats left, but we’ve never travelled in September (have only gone in May).
September is generally easy in terms of availability. Pricing on that route is a bit high and it might or might not improve. Probably going to be in low $200’s each way.
My family of 4 will be traveling from Denver to Kona, then onto kauai, back to Denver. We used miles one way to Kona and are still looking for that awesome flight from Lihue back to Denver. Nov. 25th, 2018. Please if you have any thought on timing to purchase this ticket it would much appreciated. I keep looking everyday but so far, No go!
Looks like about $500 with one stop and $1,200 nonstop. Highly unlikely to improve since that is Sunday after thanksgiving. Availability may become an issue. Suggest buying sooner than later.
Hello! I am looking at going to HNL from SLC sometime between the dates of 09/17-09/26 for about 6 days. Right now prices are around $600. Do you think it would be a good idea to continue to wait before booking?
Suggest waiting, especially if you are flying mid-week. Perhaps until early summer. Based on what’s currently available, might save $100 or more. Until new flights are announced (of course no one knows when that will be) prices are rather stagnant.
What would be the best airline(s) to travel on from Vancouver, Canada, one(s) that would offer a quality travel experience at a reasonable price?

Airlines are subject to personal opinion. You might want to check out http://www.airlinequality.com/review-pages/a-z-airline-reviews/.

Trying to book a roundtrip for 2 for $99 each way. Cannot find deal anywhere thru airlines. How do I book??
Hello:)
We hope to go to Maui in October 2018. Per your post we should start looking for flights in July 2018. We need to schedule our vacation days at work now though.
What days of the week are likely to be the best priced for flying in October.
Thank you! Martin
Hi Martin.
Yes that’s understandable. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the best bets for pricing and availability.
Aloha.
We have flexibility to travel anytime but are looking for the best deals from south Florida.

No we don’t have any experience with them cancelling flights/routes. We have had them change times of flights a bit, but that is all.

Hi,
I’m planning to travel second week of Nov 2018 from 11/8-11/12. Can you please advice what is the best time to buy airfare from Oakland-Honolulu?

Hi Karen.
As per post, you’ll need to wait for a fall sale which could happen perhaps May through July. Mid-week travel – that will help.
Aloha.

First week in June is best. After that you’ll be in peak summer. Not sure how different days will price other than that mid-week will be best.

Hello! I am traveling with a group of 4 from Los Angeles to Maui from 8/12/18 – 8/19/18. Fares right now are averaging $550. Should I buy now, or do you think I’d benefit from waiting? Thank you for your help!
Hi Serina.
Price isn’t bad but might or might not improve. Issue is whether you’re comfortable waiting and not knowing which way it might go. Best possible price would probably be about $100 less. Your Sunday departure may also preclude best price.
Aloha.
Thank you!
Hello! We are planning a trip to Oahu from January 2-7. When would you recommend would be a good time to purchase airfare? I’m keeping an eye on the cost, but was wondering when is the absolute latest I should purchase. I hate to purchase now and then have the cost go down. Thank you!
Hi Amanda.
You didn’t say where you are flying from. So generally speaking, your departure is going to still be in peak travel season, which means it should be bought soon. Your return is off-peak. So it isn’t a simple answer unfortunately. If you have a chance, let us know where you are traveling from, as that could make a difference.
Aloha.
Thank you! We are traveling from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Hi Amanda.
Looks like about $600 RT for your dates. Still not sure it will improve by much if at all. Mid-week airfares following week start at $348 RT.
Aloha.
May I ask where you see $600 roundtrip? I’ve checked AA, Delta and Alaska. AA’s cheapest is about $878. Thank you!
Hi Amanda.
Not sure what you are asking for. If you’d like to give cities and date range, we’ll be happy to try to look.
Aloha.
I thought you had stated you found $600 roundtrip flights from Albuquerque, NM to Honolulu. Thank you for your help.
Okay got it. $661 on American with two stops outbound and one on return, for your exact dates. Aa6030/AA253/HA295. Return is AA239/AA6024.
Aloha.
Hmmm…ok thanks for checking. I’m not finding that cost roundtrip at all event with the two stops. Oh well, I’ll keep checking.
Hi, Traveling from SLC to OGG on Oct 17-Oct 31. Have to use Delta with some points. When is the best time to book. I heard not to do it to early, prices come down at about 3 to 4 months out.
Thank you for your time,
Joe
Hi Joe.
When to buy is often market specific as well. SLC rarely sees sales and that may remain true until more flights occur, which is likely at some point. Currently pricing at over $700 and may or may not improve. If you can flex your dates even one day later, you could save over $50, if that helps.
Aloha.
Hello!
Thank you, I appreciate the help!
Hi Katherine.
Best hope for mid-week with moderate length stopover will start at $650. Probably mid-summer and beyond before we see winter pricing improvement.
Aloha.
Looking to book a trip February of 2019. Looking to leave from either SLC or LAS and flying to HNL. When would be the best time to book a flight? Also would it be worth it to wait until Soutwest starts selling tickets to see if prices drop from other carriers?
Thanks
Hi Jason.
First, Southwest probably won’t help you as they will first fly only from California (that’s their words not ours). It is too early to book for then. Maybe late summer to fall. Neither of those has very good deals for the most part, as you’re undoubtedly aware. You’re looking at about $500 RT.
Aloha
Seeing prices of over $700 RT for flights from SFO, OAK, SJC to any of the islands during the first week of January (~3-7). Why so expensive? Should I expect a drop in the coming months? Thanks in advance for your time and thoughts!
Hi James.
Could well come down if you wait, with target in high $300’s. At the moment there is $363 RT on Delta with one stop (SFO-OGG). That’s a good price if you’d rather lock in flights.
Aloha.
We are planning to travel to Maui October 8-20 2018 flying out of San Luis Obispo Ca. Should we wait to buy flight tickets? They have gone up by about $100.00 per ticket in the last week or so
Aloha!
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance,
Natassa
Hi Natassa.
From Denver to Hawaii for $750 in summer is a good price, no matter which airport (you said Hawaii Int, which doesn’t mean anything). Suggest buying if connection is good. And get car rental now too.
Aloha.
I am flying from SFO or LAX area to HNL on 6/20 to 6/26, when will be the best time to purchase tickets.
Thanks
Hi Tim.
Suggest booking immediately for peak summer dates. $597 RT nonstop as of right now on United. Good price.
Aloha.
Mahalo,
Joelle
Hi Joelle.
That is peak holiday season and availability is going to be very tight, so suggest you get it booked ASAP. Looking like about $1,500 per person. Also don’t forget to book a car now too.
Aloha.
Hello,
Our family of 12 will be traveling from Los Angeles to Maui the week of 6/10-6/17 (Sunday to Sunday). These dates are dictated by the timeshare. Currently, prices are about $600 R/T. Do you think now is a good time to purchase tickets or do you think the prices may come down?
Thank you for your help!
Marc
Hi Marc.
It is not likely that those dates will go down in price since they are weekend and pretty much in peak summer pricing period (starts 6/8).
Aloha.
Hi Ronnie.
Thank you. Mid-week, as indicated in post. Hard to know what will be shaking nearly a year from now. Probably plan on $400 RT then be pleasantly surprised if something better happens. Watch with us for sales, but generally summer or beyond or perhaps when Southwest announces their Hawaii flights.
Aloha.
Aloha,
Do you think I should book flights now for end of May to early June travel? I have been tracking flights everyday and it’s around $600 per person from Oak/SFO to HNL. Do you think prices will come down at all? Should I just book now? I’m afaid it’ll get more pricey if I wait.
Thank you for you help and time,
Stace
Hi Stace.
Hard to say. If today’s fares are any indication, there may be more deals ahead. If you’re returning by mid-week during first week of June you should be okay. We’d look for a fare of no more than $440 RT.
Aloha.
Aloha.
Hi Ernie.
Aloha.
Hi! My husband and I are planning on going mid December and wanted to know when it would be the best time to buy flight tickets? We would really appreciate your help, thanks !
Hi Lily.
That’s what this post is all about. If you’ll be returning to mainland by about December 12, you can probably do best to wait until summer or even after. If your trip extends beyond that it will be high season and should be bought now.
Aloha.
We’re planning a family trip with 5 adults and 1 preteen. The closest airport is Fresno. Is it worthwhile to fly from San Diego to save money?
Also are weekdays best to get the best rates?
we are planning on getting married in 2020 and flying out from OMA to HNL. when is the best time to fly as prices range from 700 and up i saw where there was a few 600s but i know that changes per year on price. so i want to know how early should i book and in what month area or time frame is best? thanks in advance
Hi Amy.
Spring after spring break and fall are going to be the best times every year. You’ll do best booking those generally 3 to 5 months in advance. For reasonably quick connection, expect to be in low $700’s RT.
Aloha.
Aloha,
Traveling to Oahu, specifically Honolulu for my honeymoon from Sept 4- Sept 14 of 2018. When is a good time to buy tickets? I’m from New York City.
Would greatly appreciate some advice
Best,
Sam
Hi Sam.
Probably will find best pricing in early summer. Target price low $700’s nonstop.
Aloha.
Hello,
We’re looking to book round trip flights for September 2018 from Oakland to Lihue. So far, the flights seem to be staying about the same; is it too early to book? We want to get on the one nonstop flight through our mileage plan, and so far there are seats left, but we’ve never travelled in September (have only gone in May).
We appreciate your advice!
Thank you,
Kate
Hi Kate.
September is generally easy in terms of availability. Pricing on that route is a bit high and it might or might not improve. Probably going to be in low $200’s each way.
Aloha.
Good Morning,
My family of 4 will be traveling from Denver to Kona, then onto kauai, back to Denver. We used miles one way to Kona and are still looking for that awesome flight from Lihue back to Denver. Nov. 25th, 2018. Please if you have any thought on timing to purchase this ticket it would much appreciated. I keep looking everyday but so far, No go!
Thanks for your help
Niki
Hi Niki.
Looks like about $500 with one stop and $1,200 nonstop. Highly unlikely to improve since that is Sunday after thanksgiving. Availability may become an issue. Suggest buying sooner than later.
Aloha.
Hello! I am looking at going to HNL from SLC sometime between the dates of 09/17-09/26 for about 6 days. Right now prices are around $600. Do you think it would be a good idea to continue to wait before booking?
Thank you so much for your time!
Hi Pam.
Suggest waiting, especially if you are flying mid-week. Perhaps until early summer. Based on what’s currently available, might save $100 or more. Until new flights are announced (of course no one knows when that will be) prices are rather stagnant.
Aloha.
Aloha.
