Now we just need to find a deal on an inter-island flight from The Big Island to Maui as we are spending time in both. So if you know of something please let me know.

    So, how do I find the $181 flights? It just takes me to Priceline, then what? I can search for any flights and days, but if I want to take advantage of the deal you say is available, how do I find the specific flight? Lots of the links are like that on this page, it takes me to an airline’s website for a regular search with no way to find your advertised deal.

      What dates are you looking for? June gets down to some Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s. July has more availability mid-week. Other months are better by a bit, but always mostly weekdays with a few Sundays.

    How do you actually get these deals? I clicked on the links but had 0 success finding real, actual flights that exist.

    Hello! I need to fly to the east coast this summer (Early June to early July) and have been watching prices for a couple of months. I’m afraid I’ve missed my window of opportunity because I’ve seen the prices go up the last few days. In your opinion, should I go ahead and purchase tickets at $950ish or should I wait to see if they go back down? I’d be happy with between $750 and $850. I need to fly into DC area, Norfolk or RDU.

      Hi Rachel.

      You didn’t indicate where you are flying from, so we’ll assume Honolulu. Check Alaska as they have the best prices right now. Example, June 5 to July 4 to IAD for $721RT. Great price, although it does have a long layover in SF. That’s the price you’ll pay for a cheap ticket. Otherwise mostly $200+ more.
