I’m looking to book flights from Los Angeles (or surrounding) to Maui to Kauai and back around early November (must be on either island on Nov 6th through the 8th, but the whole trip I’d like to last about a week and a half total between the two islands). I don’t care which island we visit first, but there will be two birthdays and one proposal involved =]. What kind of rates should I wait for before booking?

Anything under $300 is good, and it could even be better. You may need to wait until 3 or 4 months before that to see the very best offers.
