We are seeing new availability and price matching even today for more $99 airfares. That includes $99 Phoenix to Maui on Hawaiian Airlines for example.

No airline change fees

Given the fluid circumstances associated with the Coronavirus outbreak, airlines have adopted new rules to make changing your ticket easy. So you can still purchase $99 airfares and know that it is possible to change to another date in the future without any change fees. The only cost when changing is if the fare you booked is no longer available, you will need to pay the fare available at the time of re-booking.

Hawaiian Airlines. A one-time fee waiver for new tickets purchased through March 16, 2020 for any flight.

Alaska Airlines. A fee waiver or cancellation (with redeposit for future flight) is available for new tickets purchased through March 31, 2020 for any flight.

American Airlines. A fee waiver is available for new tickets purchased by March 31, 2020. You can make a one-time change before your original departure date.

Delta Airlines. A fee waiver is available for new tickets purchased by March 31, 2020.

Southwest Airlines. Southwest does not have change fees so tickets can always be changed.

United Airlines. A fee waiver is available for new tickets purchased by March 31, 2020.

    1. Hi Lisa.

$580 2-stop or $626 1-stop with quick connections. Many dates but not Saturdays and rarely Fridays in both months.

      Aloha.

    1. Hi Natalia.

Starting at $675 RT with a good connection. With a very long connection, from low $500’s. On multiple airlines.

      Aloha.

  1. Your statement that Hawaiian Air is waiving change fees for tickets purchased prior to March 16 is not correct, at least according to their website and the customer service rep that I spoke with. Their official current policy states that “Guests who book any of our flights between March 1-31, 2020 may change their travel to a future date without incurring change fees.* My tickets (purchased last October for a May 2020 trip) are not eligible for a waiver of the change fee.

  2. Aloha, We are looking for cheapest flights from OGG to PHL, leaving OGG on or about May 14, 2020 and returning from PHL on or about May 27, 2020. Can you help with this at this time of big sales? I am a subscriber and never have much luck finding the great deals that you advertise that are out there.

    Mahalo,
    Liz

    1. Hi Liz.

Starting at $576 RT for your dates. Might improve for your mid-week dates if you wait a bit. Best hope is about $400, which we do see for April travel.

      Aloha.

    1. Hi Kim.

You’ll have to check back later for best fall prices. Currently $388. You’ll do better to wait until up to 3 mos in advance.

      Aloha.

  3. I am looking to take my family for the first time to maui from July 1 to July 10th

I am finding airfare from Phoenix to be quite expensive. Hoping someone can give advice or knows something I don’t
