My husband and I are planning a trip to Kauai from Dallas 6/27/15. Is it best to buy tickets for this time of year as early as possible, or wait until a little closer? Also, what prices do you think we’ll be looking at? Thank you for your help!

My boyfriend and I are looking to go back to Honolulu in October or November. Our dates are flexible, and we want to stay for 7-10 nights. We are flying from LAX – HNL. The best deal i have found so far is $508 RT … Should I wait?
We are planning a trip to Maui in mid-March 2015. Will be flying from either Oakland, San Jose or San Francisco. For the specific dates we are looking at costs are about $530 RT on one airline and $580 RT on the other.
Are those fares average? Do you think prices could go down?

January 4-31 is $738 on American. 3rd is more $$.

Hard to say. Your dates are very bad in terms of price. If there’s extra inventory the price may drop closer to the date – probably a month our so out. On the other hand it could be sold out.

While spring break will mostly be in March, you’re talking about coming over Easter, which may not yield the best pricing. Have you considered Allegiant (their Spring booking isn’t available yet). Otherwise if there are sales, they could appear starting after the summer on.
